Home Assistant

The TinyPole desk pole works with Home Assistant. Add it once and it becomes a light you can automate, with every pattern as an effect, plus four kinds of feedback for things that happen in your home:

Feedback What it looks like
Notify A flash in a color for a few seconds (pulse, blink, chase or sparkle), then back to what it was playing
Progress A bar that fills the pole from the base or the tip: a print, a download, a timer, a battery
Mood A steady or breathing color, with an optional slow drift of hue along the pole
Party Rainbow, confetti, strobe or disco, optionally reacting to the pole's own microphone

Nothing leaves your network. Home Assistant talks to the controller already inside the pole, over your Wi-Fi, with no account, cloud service or firmware change. The integration is open source and installs through HACS or by copying one folder.

Full-size poles

The Permanent, Portable and Aerial poles are driven by the PoleFX Player and are not Home Assistant devices. For show and building integration use DMX or pixel streaming from a media server. If you would like the Player itself in Home Assistant, tell us.
